Most of us eat these white foods every single day without realizing how deeply they affect our health.

🍞 Maida (Refined White Flour) – Zero fiber, zero nutrition. It clogs your gut, slows digestion, and causes bloating, constipation, and acidity.
βš™οΈ Exact Mechanism: How Maida Can Cause Constipation
1. Loss of Fiber During Refining
Whole wheat has three parts: bran (fiber), germ (nutrients), and endosperm (mostly starch).
Maida is made by removing bran and germ, leaving mostly starch and gluten.
This process strips away nearly all dietary fiber, which is essential for gut motility.
2. Low Fiber β†’ Reduced Stool Bulk
Insoluble fiber in whole grains adds bulk to stool and holds water.
Bulkier stools stimulate the colon via stretch receptors, prompting peristalsis (muscular contractions).
