Two Essential Neck Exercises for Pain Relief | Stretch & Mobility Routine
If you're dealing with neck pain or stiffness, this video is for you! Here, I’ll show you two of my favorite neck exercises that not only relieve pain but help increase flexibility and mobility. Follow along to learn these simple but effective techniques to open up your neck and upper back.
Exercise Breakdown -
1) Side Neck Stretch:
Target your left side by pulling your left hand over to your right.
Gently lower your right ear to your right shoulder.
Slowly move your chin toward your chest and then back up toward the sky.
This stretch helps release tension in the trapezius and surrounding neck muscles.
2) Thoracic Rotation with Support:
Use a pillow or foam roller to support your neck and prevent strain.
Position your body for rotation, focusing on moving the rib cage while keeping your neck steady.
Open up slowly, maintaining control throughout the movement.
This helps alleviate stiffness and improves rotation in the neck and upper spine.
Take it slow, especially the first few times. These movements are designed to support neck health without straining sensitive tissues. For best results, practice these stretches on both sides of your body and feel the difference!
