About 12 years ago I got into Ayurvedic Medicine. It's an unequivocally intricate system of human health, diagnosis, and treatment for the entire human condition. It's quite daunting actually.
I remember first learning about pulse readings and thinking that, although it was interesting, I most likely would not learn how to perform the diagnostic technique.
Then I found a chiropractic technique that incorporated Traditional Chinese Medicine pulse reading techniques... and I remember having several patients report that "their acupuncturist could take their pulse and know all kinds of things."
My interest grew.
So I began to study both systems of pulse readings, both TCM and Ayurveda. The Chiropractic technique also adapted the TCM pulse readings to reflect spinal segment dysfunction and required additional study.
Eventually, I would find the work of Dr. Vasant Lad. His book, "Secrets of the Pulse" was an in-depth guide to pulse reading and diagnosis.

ABSOLUTELY BLEW MY MIND!
In the early days of the Youtube channel @Chiropractic Medicine, one of the first times a video went viral was bc I correctly diagnosed a Urinary Tract Infection via pulse reading.
Since then people have asked for more.
I've taken pulses since 2015 and have learned, and continue learning how variations in the pulse translate to present and past health conditions.
