Split Pea soup:
1 sweet onion, finely diced
2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
2 slices of uncured bacon, cut into small ½ inch strips with scissors
2 cup green split peas, rinsed
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
2 yellow potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed
2 carrots, peeled and sliced thinly
6 cups chicken broth
1 sprig fresh thyme
Sea Salt and pepper to taste

Easy Chicken Marinade:
¼ cup avocado oil or olive oil
¼ cup coconut aminos
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp coconut sugar ( or honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
