Nutrition advice nowadays is like the telephone game. A study comes out, and that piece of information is twisted by the media, then changed a little bit on a Facebook post, then twisted by a supplements company, and it finally reaches the ear of your nutrition enthusiast auntie. And once we’ve assimilated a piece of information, we treat it as fact and rarely think of challenging it. And then nutrition myths are created.
