When designing a hairline for Black men, we approach it very differently than for Caucasian patients. A natural Black male hairline is typically straight or with a subtle, clean curve — not the zigzag pattern often used for Caucasian transplants. If we copy that zigzag pattern, it can look unnatural on Black hair textures, which are usually coarser, curlier, and denser. Precision matters — every graft, every angle, every line.

This is why experience in Black hair restoration is critical. It’s about respecting natural aesthetics, follicle curl pattern, and long-term results.
